A Finnish conscript was injured after a training hand grenade exploded in his hand during a live-fire exercise at the Pori Brigade’s Niinisalo training area. The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. on Friday. According to the brigade, the conscript suffered minor injuries to his hand. He was examined at the scene and was also due to undergo a further examination at the garrison hospital.
