Four officers at Sweden’s Livgardet have been reported for suspected sexual offences against around ten women at the regiment, including both conscripts and employees. According to Expressen, the allegations cover around twenty incidents, ranging from unwanted advances and sexual harassment to suspected sexual assault and rape, allegedly taking place in Livgardet’s premises and during a work trip.

Two of the officers have left their jobs, while Livgardet’s commander, Colonel Gustaf Dufberg, condemned the case as a credibility crisis for an institution entrusted with the state’s use of force.
