A Finnish conscript serving with the Armoured Brigade was injured on Thursday morning when a training hand grenade went off in his hand during a grenade-throwing exercise at the Pohjankangas firing and training area in Niinisalo. The incident happened during the Mighty Arrow 26 exercise, led by the Armoured Brigade. The cause remains unknown and is being investigated.
